Make your online reservation Now. 2816 Bayside Walk 2 bedroom/ 1 bath. This property is available year-round. We offer a 3 night minimum Sept to May. One week minimum for summer season and also over the Holidays. We do not accommodate arrivals on a holiday at this time. This waterfront cottage on the bay is perfect for a relaxing get away or family vacation. The large windows in the living area highlight the bayfront lifestyle. Watch sail boats wander by, families out for a stroll, or sunrise.... and the Seaworld fireworks!

The cottage is available year round. Offers TV, VCR,DVD and CD stereo. The front patio is so wonderful you will want to enjoy all of your meals cooked on the gas grill. The patio is fenced in for the littles ones and this prime location offers 2 parking spots. One garage for smaller vehicle and a space for a larger vehicle on the side of the house. Located between Capistrano Place and Cohassett Court right on the bayfront.

One bedroom offers a King bed and a 2nd TV. There is a bathroom, with shower only ,that has an entrance from the bed room and also the hall so it can be easily accessed by both bedrooms.

The second bedroom offers twin bunkbeds and an additional full size bed for a total of three beds. There is also a washer and dryer inside the home. The light and bright kitchen area is complete with microwave, dishwasher, coffee maker, toaster. Cookware, dishware and all of the kitchen necessities are included. This beach house also has full plastic dishware for patio dining. The dining area is off of the kitchen and open into the living area with a view of the bayfront.

This home is charming and one of the original California cottages on the bay. Come and enjoy the bayfront and all it has to offer. It is just a short walk to the Pacific Ocean. This cottage is available year round. Property also offers WIFI

We had a very nice stay. My only gripes were a broken pump for bike tires and the bikes were
very uncomfortable. We ended up renting a bike.
Overall it was just fine, we liked the funky
old feeling, it suited us fine. We did not use
the patio very much because it was chilly and dark too early. It would be great in the summer.

We found this get-away beach house to be perfect for all of our needs. Right on Bay with beach out the front gate. Walked 3 blocks to beach. Walk to market, liquor store, coffee shop, taco/burrito stand. Everything we needed was right there and no car required. We used the bikes provided and biked up and down the boardwalk. The was an excellent escape. The only thing I would change, if I could, we be the overhead noise from the airport. There is a definate flight pattern that is continuous from about 5 AM - 10 PM or so. Otherwise - perfect! We will stay here again.

We've stayed here 2 years in a row as this property has the best location right on south mission bay. The bayside beach is excellent here for shell hunting and playing in calm water. The patio is large and shady so the kids can play outside safely while
we're getting ready to go out, etc. We just wish they would invest a little in nicer furniture--my husband ended up with back pain from a lumpy master bed and not very comfy chairs.For the price, they could also stock a few basics--we had to buy coffee filters,
garbage bags and dish soap which most rentals include. Overall we had a great vacation both years, but the back pain may be a deal breaker for my husband for next year.

Great location and house for a family! Far enough from the Boardwalk that it was nice and quiet, but close enough that you can take a bike there for lunch. Beautiful patio and great open floor plan. Comfortable beds with nice bedding. Ceiling fans and
big open windows kept the house cool even in the hottest part of the day. The only problem was that the kitchen appliances and pots/pans were very old and or limited. If you plan on doing a lot of cooking bring your own pans! Well worth the price however,
we had great stay, and plan on returning!

My family and I really enjoyed the Beach House, It was located perfect with lots to do around it. I enjoyed sitting on the front porch in the morning with the beautiful flowers. I would recomend this property to all my friends.

The location was perfect. There were a few things within the property that did not work as described on the website; i.e., the barbeque did not work, nor did the stereo, garbage disposal or the smoke alarm (it needed a battery). Also, someone kept parking in front our garage and we were unable to use it for parking. We loved the location though, right on the bike path and steps to the bay. All in all, it was a lovely vacation!

This cottage is so much more than the photos and description. We had a terrific family vacation with our two small children at this location. You just can't beat the wonderful bayside beach right out the back door - priceless! Although we had a little 'hiccup' in our stay - all the staff at Sandy Beach Rentals came to our aid. The location was perfect--beautiful view--neighbors were very quiet. Great for a family with young kids--large enclosed patio. A little run down--patio bench was wobbly, disposal didn't work--wish they would spend $500 to fix it up and it would be great. Even without the fix ups, we would probably stay there again.

This is our sixth year in a row at the same beach cottage. We noticed that the property was spruced up this year with a new paint job and the floors resurfaced. Our one issue was the gas for the bbq being out for the 2nd year in a row. However, we called Sandy Beach and they replaced it within 5 minutes. We will stay here next year as well.

Quiet cottage located away from noicy windy ocean and beach volley ball tournaments. However, if you want to hear the ocean, this is not the place for you. If you want to participate in the imprompt to beach volley ball tournament, this is not the property for you.

This property lacks microwavable dishes, WiFi and electrical outlets. The gates around the house are a hastle, and we tripped more then once on the steps getting up to the door.

The location is increadible. 10 steps and you are on the beautiful white sand beach. Everyone says "hi" on the walking path outside the patio.

BRING BIKES!!!! It is 2 miles to most grocerie stores and most restaurants. The bike ride is awsome and you get some "free" excersise in the process.

It was a very quiet, safe feeling, and lovely place, and we loved having the patio most of all, plus the kitchen for convenience. The fans in each room were nice, and the home was very nice, with everything we could need and more. It became a comfy "home away from home" and we would definitely come back.

This bungalow is perfect for families. It's location right on the beach/Bay is perfect for children to play while parents sit on the porch. The table on the porch is beautiful dinner setting. Two great playgrounds are an easy walk away. And our children LOVED the bunkbeds.

Shower caddy is very rusty and window in the kitchen does not work at all. The kitchen gets very hot when the oven is on.

This is our 4th year in a row at this beach cottage. This is the first year where we noticed that many of the bowls were dirty and the propane tank was completely empty. Fortunately, we live in town so was able to retrieve a full one from home.

Even with those two issues, the location is great and it has two parking spots. One big enough to hold a suburban, which is rare in that area.

We will rent again next year.
The bay side is much quieter than the beach side which is nice on the weekends and in the evenings.

We have two small children (2 yrs and 8 months) and brought my young sisters (12 yrs and 10 yrs)...everyone had a great time. So many things within walking distance! The only time we got into our car was to go to Seaworld, which by the way you can see across the bay. The house was much roomier than I had originally anticipated. Plenty of space for everyone, even with two pre-teens in tow. We have already talked about returning in the future and have recommended the house to all of our friends.
