Just one thing: it must be a weird architect who put the switch of the light of the room, outsight the room!!! And for the switch of the living room, he is not at the entrance but at the other end of the living room! For the rest, the location was perfect, thank you
I arrived to La Playita B to find it not cleaned yet. The manager, Greg, was extremely helpful and ended up upgrading us to La Playita A, right on the beach. It was great, we loved it.

The location was perfect but the amenities were poor. There were not enough kitchen tools for basic cooking and grilling and the lack of supplies made going to a store very early on in the stay essential to purchase dish soap and paper goods. 2 rolls of toilet paper and one roll of paper towels are not enough for 6 people for one week. This property seemed neglected and as if the owner had given up on it. Renteres in the other units were extremely dissatisfied with the lack of supplies for cooking and grilling and since they had come from out of state, they resorted to eating out for the entire week. We have rented before and the amenties were much better than this one. The location is perfect which made up for the lack of creature comforts in the unit.
We stayed at La Playita B for a month and were basically pleased with the property. There were some things we could have used being there for the month(kitchen items, rug at the front door etc.) Next time we will know what we need to bring from home. The location was wonderful!

It would have been nice if there were another chair in the living room and if the electrical sockets worked. About 40% of the electrical outlets were dead. We honestly believe that the rent should be less for faithful customers giavne the economic times. We shouldn't have to ask for a break the Owner's would be wise to offer pricing breaks to the loyal 20 year plus customers. thank you!
The refrigerator kept our food cold and we had lots of hot water. The patio is wonderful, but could use some new chairs. Our biggest problem was the lamps. On several the switches didn't work--just went round and round. These were the ONLY lights in the bedrooms, which meant we needed to plug/unplug in the dark! Very difficult and I worried about us getting shocked--especially my kids. The smoke detector started beeping at midnight our last night and it took some time to get it down-thank goodness it was reachable by standing on the bed. Either it was broken or the battery was old. Please check these regularly. I suggest you add some pot holders and at least one pot with a lid or a colander to the kitchen. The master could use either new blinds or black out curtains. Those blinds could only go up and down and not adjust light. They did not keep out the light from the next door neighbors who left their outside light on continuouly and I'm not sure that people weren't getting to see me undress all week! The mgmt quickly responded to my request for a broom. It would be nice to have a vacuum that had a floor attachment and not just an upholstery one. It made me laugh that we had TWO ironing boards and irons. Who on earth irons on vacation--or at the beach for that matter :) We would consider this place again.
The TV is older and the picture is a little blurry. Kitchen did not have all the dishes and pots/pans you would expect to be there.
my twin and I had the best time, it was so relaxing! a huge part of that was expert and patient help from Becky and Dana. I have to tell you that I called two other rental companies and we chose Sandy Beach because of their positive great attitude and helpfulness. I would recommend to anyone! Thanks, Kristen
Overall we enjoyed our stay. The unit could use replacement or repaired blinds, lamps, fans, and kitchen cabinet doors.
Great location, but boy has this place seen better days. From broken furniture, blinds falling apart, cabinet doors barely hanging on, a sewage leak in a garage, no phone working...but honestly you cant beat this location.
We enjoyed our stay at La Playita B mainly because of the great location. Staying for a month we could have used more in the way of kitchen items etc. We'll know next time what we need to bring! All in all we had a great month!
